I thought I would share the top five things I am looking forward to this week, as I am enjoy my coffee on a semi-lazy Sunday morning. I am a little slow this morning as I attempt to recover from a busy week, both at work and at home.
Top 5 things that I am looking forward to:
- March Madness starts on Thursday and it’s time to get the brackets ready for a few tournament pools that I am lucky enough to be invited to participate.
- New episode of LOST on Tuesday – last week’s episode was by far the best of Season Six and this weeks episode looks just as bad ass “Dr. Linus” was.
- Week Three of the P90X Fitness Program – I am glad that I made the decision to start this journey but holy crap am I sore! LOL!
- Updating the Development Road Map for work – I love working with Gantt charts and resource plans for visibility into the Software and Technology Dept. workload in order to make decisions and prioritize the efforts.
- The Pacific; the new HBO miniseries produced by Hanks and Spielberg. If its’ anything like the Band of Brothers, grab some popcorn and turn up the home theater system!
Observations from last week:
- Erick Massa – WTF! I don’t even know where to start as I am a little horrified, yet completely thankful for your comical breakdown in public. You can’t even make this kind of trash up and sell it in Hollywood!
- The Coffee Party – not only do I love coffee but this group is actually trying to debate the issues that face the United States, rather than use fear tactics and false patriotic motives like the Tea Party to change course. Their mission statement says a lot “We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will.”
- The Los Angeles Lakers are struggling but got a nice win in Phoenix on Friday. It’s time to get ready for a championship run with Phil and Kobe!
Time to get back to my chore list and prepare for another exciting week. Enjoy!
